Extracurricular activity is such a process which helps the child to be engrossed in it and also to show his/her talent in a particular field.
When a child enters the school premises he/she should feel happy with the surroundings of the school, our school tries its best to encourage the child not only in academic results but also in different extra curricular activities.
The school and the teachers try their best to help the child to develop his/her skills and talents.
So, we divide our school students every year into four houses namely Saffron, White, Green and Blue. The teachers are also divided into different houses, House Mistresses or Masters are selected to plan out the whole year’s activities and then different activities are carried out every month to encourage the students and give them platform to exhibit their talents and build confidence in themselves. Poem recitation, quiz, drawing, decorating the Christmas tree, Diwali celebration, cake making, salad-making etc. are the activities in which the students participate so that they can do better in their life. The winners are given away prizes on the Founder’s Day that is on 20th March, the birth anniversary of our founder Madam Lily Parr. Students participating in various activities help them to move actively towards their all-round development which indirectly helps them to have confidence in themselves and to show their hidden talents and can exhibit their quality.
