This is the third souvenir released by Excelsior Model School at the completion of the 50th Glorious Year of academic excellence. It was an honour for me to be a part of Excelsior family for the silver and the 35th Anniversaries. Here we are now celebrating the Golden Jubilee. How time flies!!
As I look back over the past years I am overwhelmed with joy to see the academic progress of the school. It has increased in size also. It is a full- fledged school from Nursery to Higher Secondary.
At the mention of Golden Jubilee, I am reminded of Madam Lily Parr, who sowed the seed of Excelsior in 1964 and tirelessly worked hard for the students and gave Excelsior into my hands in 1985.From that time I took it as my mission and responsibility to bring Excelsior up to the present heights. Excelsior is my passion, my baby and my only love.
Today Madam Lily Parr will be very satisfied to see that her school is progressing the way she had dreamed it to be. I miss her presence. But somewhere up above she is looking at her school with a satisfied smile and blessings for the years ahead.
I wish all success for the release of this souvenir. I extend my good wishes to the principal, Mrs. Harsha Mehta and all the members of Excelsior family. Be sure of my whole-hearted co-operation to make Excelsior progress more in the coming years. Let us promise ourselves to mould our students into good citizens of India and better human beings.
Lord, bless our school and all of us.
Our beloved Sheelu Miss you will always remain in our hearts.
