Madam Lily Parr – Founder

Mother is the dearest one on earth. Madam Parr, the founder of Excelsior, fondly known as ‘Amma’ was a deserving example of a mother.
Fifty years ago she started a small nursery in Adipur with an ambition to do her best in education. She was committed to her mission and finally she achieved her aim of building a full-fledged school.
Today she is no more. But we can fell her presence in our midst in her invisible form. She can never be forgotten as she has left behind an everlasting fragrance of her legacy in our hearts and her fifty year old ‘Excelsior’.
We remember her with love, affection and gratitude.

A beautiful garden now stands alone,
Missing the one who nurtured it
But now she’s gone,
It was hard for those who loved her,
To just let her go,
Her flowers still bloom, and the sun it still shines,
She loved every flower even some that were weeds,
But the beautiful memories of its keeper are in our hearts to stay.
